Can I use it from birth, and what are the three stages?

Yes — the Evolve Bouncer is specifically crafted to support little ones from day one, with the included newborn insert supporting babies from a minimum weight of 2.5kg. The three stages are what make this bouncer genuinely different from a standard single-use product. In the newborn stage, the ergonomic insert cradles your baby from head to hips in a fully reclined, supported position. As your baby grows into the infant stage, the insert is removed and the bouncer transitions into an active bouncing seat powered by your baby's own kicks and movements. How does the bouncing work — does it need batteries or a motor?
